THE WHAT? Airport Authority Hong Kong has released its annual sustainability report, which showcases the highlights for the 2021/22 period. 

THE DETAILS The airport received an inaugural rating of 74 out of 100 for environmental, social and governance performance from Standard & Poor Global Ratings.

It also aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals for the first time, and launched its first Sustainable Finance Transactions Annual Report.

Other highlights included becoming the first airport to achieve Net Zero Carbon Target that encompasses 29 key aviation-related business partners’ activities as part of its Scope 3 emissions, being voted Asia’s leading airport for the second consecutive year, and receiving the Gold Award in the ‘Excellence in HR Digitalisaiton’ category at HR Distinction Awards 2021.

THE WHY? The report is said to provide a comprehensive account of AAHK’s management approach and sustainability performance in five key areas: Airport City, World-class Gateway, Greenest Airport, Community and Our People.

Jack So Chak-kwong, Chairman, says, “As we look to the future, we are confident HKIA will help maintain the international aviation hub status of Hong Kong as set out in the National 14th Five-year Plan, and actively support domestic trade and growth within the Greater Bay Area and beyond.”

  • Botulinum Toxin (Botox): Botulinum toxin injections temporarily relax facial muscles that cause wrinkles and lines to form. It is commonly used to treat forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow's feet around the eyes.
