THE WHAT? WBA-owned No7 has launched a new initiative in partnership with AllBright designed to give perimenopausal and menopausal individuals practical support and expert advice to tackle the challenges that menopause presents in the workplace.

THE DETAILS Changing the Face of Menopause at Work, as the campaign has been named, was created in recognition of the need to support people during this life-stage so they can continue to thrive in their careers; one in 10 women aged between 45 and 55 have left employment as a result of their menopause symptoms.

THE WHY? Munnawar Chishty, No7 Global Vice President and Beauty Category Director, comments, “We know that many can experience significant challenges in the workplace during menopause. As a business, we are working hard to provide the right support for our team members, and we are proud to have recently been independently accredited as a Menopause Friendly Employer by Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace.

“As a brand that is committed to supporting all women and helping them fulfil their potential, we wanted to take tangible action to help more people navigate through these challenges. By partnering with AllBright to create a range of free-to-access expert resources, we hope to help continue to break down stigma around menopause in the workplace and give people who experience menopause the confidence to thrive.”

Injectable aesthetics. Nykaa: demand is bouncing back

Injectable aesthetics are popular due to their ability to provide noticeable results with minimal downtime compared to surgical procedures. They are versatile and can be tailored to meet individual aesthetic goals, whether it's enhancing lips, restoring facial volume, or smoothing out wrinkles. However, they should always be administered by qualified professionals to ensure safety and achieve optimal results.

Injectable aesthetics are used to enhance facial features, reduce the signs of aging, and improve overall facial symmetry and appearance.

Key types of injectable aesthetics include:

  • Dermal Fillers: These injectables are used to add volume, fill in wrinkles and folds, and enhance facial contours. They often contain substances like hyaluronic acid, collagen, or calcium hydroxylapatite, which help plump up the skin and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.

  • Botulinum Toxin (Botox): Botulinum toxin injections temporarily relax facial muscles that cause wrinkles and lines to form. It is commonly used to treat forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow's feet around the eyes.

  • Collagen Stimulators: These injectables stimulate the body's own collagen production, helping to improve skin texture and firmness over time. Examples include poly-L-lactic acid (Sculptra) and calcium hydroxylapatite (Radiesse).

  • Neurotoxin Injections: Besides Botox, other neurotoxins such as Dysport and Xeomin are used similarly to reduce wrinkles and lines.
